OK, maybe not a pro, but certainly more experienced than I have been up till now. (Is that even news?)
I’m developing an on-line shopping section of Kathy’s Emunah Studio and Gallery site, allowing for on-line purchasing of jewellery and art. I’ve worked with a couple of “virtual product” e-com installs before (selling access to videos), but this is the first time in many years that I’ve tackled an on-line store for physical products.
I’m working with Woocommerce as the base e-com software, and Woocommerce Services and JetPack to provide automatic tax and shipping calculations; payment will be through PayPal and PayPal Express Checkout.
The store should be ready in a couple of weeks, and I’ll report back on my impressions and any helpful advice I come up with.
